How Depop fees work
Depop has charged US sellers a 0% selling fee since July 15, 2024 — the platform makes its money from a separate buyer-side marketplace fee (up to 5% + up to $1) that the buyer pays on top of the item price, not the seller. The one seller-side cost that remains is payment processing through Depop Payments (powered by Stripe): 3.3% + $0.45, applied to the item price plus shipping plus any tax. Optional promotional "boosts" carry their own variable fees but aren't part of a standard sale, so they're left out of this calculator.
